Arabic

The main goal of teaching our students Arabic as a language is so that they understand the meaning of the Holy Qur’an.

The structure of this course is based on the method of one of the best and most popular books of Arabic language known as al-Ajrumiyyah. The course is divided into 3 levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Level 1: Beginner
Students learn the Arabic alphabet – recognizing the letters, reading, and writing. At this stage, emphasis would be put into ensuring that students are able to pronounce the letters accurately.

Level 2: Intermediate
Students focus on joining the Arabic letters to form words and sentences. During this course, the main examples of putting the words and sentences together that students will get familiar with, is the meaning of ayat of Qur’an.

Level 3: Advanced
Students study conversational Arabic. They should be able to speak the language at an introductory level, as well as understand Arabic speakers using Classical Arabic language. They should also be able to understand ayat of Qur’an, as well as hadith.

Please note, as with any field of study, it requires a lot of hard work by students to master all the Arabic grammar, speak and understand all the Arabic texts. Learning any language requires regular practice, constant revision and a strong desire to learn new things every day.
